A CPS Member is someone who has successfully completed the Boating Course and applied for membership.
A more limited membership, that of CPS Associate, is open to graduates of the BoatPro or Pleasure Craft Operator Card exam.
Regular members have the right to vote and can fly the CPS flag. Associate Members cannot vote or/and fly the CPS flag. Both types of membership have access to the same corporate membership benefits.
Benefits of Membership
There are many benefits for CPS members, ranging from reduced boat insurance rates to automobile rental and hotel rates.
For the complete, up-to-date list of benefits, check out Membership Benefits on the Canadian Power Squadron web site. Go to the CPS Web Site and select Join CPS from the menu under the banner.
